
Visiting Hours and Policies
Open Visitation
Visitation is permitted during designated visiting hours and limited to a maximum of 2 visitors per patient per day, preferably the same 2 visitors for the duration of patient’s hospitalization.
No visitation is permitted for confirmed or suspected COVID-19 positive patients or patients under any isolation for contagious illness, except for end-of life care or medical necessity as approved by Administration.
Visitors interfering with patient care or not compliant with proper masking protocol, will be asked to leave.
General Visiting Hours and Guidelines:
- Visiting hours are between 11AM and 7PM.
- Visitors must be 18 years or older.
- Visitors must complete a health screening and temperature check at the front desk.
- Visitors presenting with the following symptoms will not be allowed to visit:
- New loss of taste or smell
- Fever > 99.5 degrees in the last 24 hours
- New or changing cough
- Shortness of breath
- Diarrhea more frequent than usual
- Visitors cleared through screening and temperature check will be provided a visitor badge and a surgical mask.
- Visitors are required to wear a hospital-issued surgical mask, fully covering the nose and mouth, including in the patient room during their visit.
- Visitors are encouraged to wash / cleanse hands frequently using hand sanitizer or soap and water and maintain social distancing of 6 feet apart.
- Visitors are permitted to go to the cafeteria located on the basement level.
- Visitors may bring food for patients if dietary restrictions are maintained and delivered in disposable containers to be consumed at the time of the visit. Left-over food may not be stored on the unit.
- The clinical team may restrict visitation in certain cases of extremely immunocompromised or high-risk patients.

Smoking Policy
Community First Medical Center is a healing environment. For the health of our entire community, Community First Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on campus, including outdoor areas.
